Want to take a more hands-on approach to your wedding flowers? Looking to reduce costs but unsure where to start or lacking confidence?
This series of workshops is designed to guide you step-by-step, helping you build the skills and confidence to create your own beautiful arrangements.
Workshop 1
Create your own bridal bouquet and bridesmaids’ bouquets, and learn how to make flower crowns.
Workshop 2
Design ceremony flowers, including pew ends, chair-back ties, and candle arrangements.
Workshop 3
Learn to make buttonholes and corsages, along with essential tips on caring for and preparing your flowers.
Each workshop includes guidance on flower preparation, quantities to purchase, and timing. Sessions can be tailored to your specific needs, as every wedding is unique. One-to-one tuition is also available.

These classes are perfect for complete beginners, removing the mystery from flower arranging and helping you develop confidence in your own creative style.
You’ll learn practical techniques for conditioning and caring for flowers and foliage to ensure longer-lasting displays. The classes also introduce environmentally friendly methods, encouraging you to make use of everyday materials in creative and sustainable ways.

With experience as both a second-level teacher and an HSCL coordinator, I understand the role and the challenges involved.
Through Olivia’s Flowers, I offer tailored flower arranging workshops that support the core pillars of DEIS. These sessions provide an engaging leisure activity for parents, with a focus on developing literacy and numeracy skills, encouraging participation, and working towards the completion of a creative project.
